I made this for my father for christmas 2011.

Materials: marbled paper (by Manne Dahlstedt), white & yellow paper, hemp cord, leather, copper wire, board, glue.

It's not longstitch, it's called something else but I don't remember what it was. I found it in a book about bookbinding :) In fact, I don't even think they mentioned a name for the stitching in the book, just the person who came up with it. But i'm sorry to say I don't remember that name either ^^

I don't really have time right now to make a tutorial, but you could buy the book, it's called Adventures in Bookbinding :) It's all in there. Not my exact book but the stitching :)

This is great - I really like the spine design and you could get lost for hours looking into the details of that marbled paper!
